And it is James Spader!

The Boston Legal actor has officially signed on to play the villain in the upcoming Avengers: Age of Ultron. This is epic news. Such great casting.

Spader can next be seen in NBC's The Blacklist which begins September 23.

Avengers 2 arrives in summer 2015.
