. The article makes comparisons to Batman Begins in which a revered character is successfully rebooted. Except that the last time we saw Batman (prior to the reboot) was in a disastrous embarrassment of a film (Courtesy of WB btw) that left the franchise in ruins. Buffy is in no such state. In fact, the franchise is a strong and viable as it ever was leaving many to wonder why reboot it at all? Fans would line up to see a true film over and over again. One that is true to Joss Whedon's universe and includes the cast and characters we all love.This whole thing has disaster written all over it.
No offense to Whit Anderson, I'm sure she's a great writer but no one wants this. Least of all the fans.
Get it together WB. Give us something we want, like a REAL Buffy
film. Oh and a Veronica Mars movie. Forget this reboot crap.
