    I'll Get Inside Your Face

Bon Jovi would have been proud had his song been spoofed for this flick. I'm talking of course about the new Will Farrell/Jon Hedder flick "Blades of Glory"about two rival figure skaters who are banned and subsequently team up to compete as the first male partners in couples skating.
Quite the hilarity. "Twin Dongs?" anyone?
Yes it is a silly movie. Yes it is a stupid movie but damnit its also a funny movie. I may be strung up for saying so but it is my favorite Will Farrell movie. I enjoyed it all the way through which is a problem I had with some of his other works like "Anchorman" and the god awful "Elf".
Blades has a silly charm to it. It never takes itself seriously, but then again how could it? Jon and Will are hilarious together and the faces Jon shoots at Will after he says some rediculous comments are classic. Support from Amy Poehler and Will Arnet was great as well. Amy and Will are always funny and its great to see them together as the rivals to Will and Jon. Craig T. Nelson is pretty good as the coach but that role could prolly be played by anyone else with the same results. The same goes for Jenna Fischer, you'd know her best from the american version of "The Office". She was kinda wasted in this.
I dunno. Maybe it was my mood or it was the perfect time to see it but I really did enjoy the movie. To me, it's worth a full price ticket. However, if you don't always like silly movies, you may wanna kick a matinee on this one.
    See ya at the movies!
