    Retro CD Release: "Jimmy Barnes"

One of the best reissue record labels in the world is the UK's Cherry Red Records

Out now from this great label is the reissue of Australian superstar Jimmy Barnes' 1985 self titled release "Jimmy Barnes."

This long out of print CD features 11 tracks.  7 written or co-written by Barnes plus 2 original Jonathan Cain (Journey, The Babys, Bad English) compositions: "Working Class Man" and "American Heartbeat" and the hit single "I'd Die To Be With You Tonight" written by Chas Sanford.

Other contributors to the album include Tommy Thayer (KISS), Waddy Wachtel and Charlie Sexton on guitars, Randy Jackson (American Idol) on bass, Tony Brock (Rod Stewart, The Babys) and Mick Fleetwood on drums and Jonathan Cain on keyboards.

"Jimmy Barnes" went on to sell more than 500,000 copies in Australian.

If you only own it on vinyl then it's time to upgrade to CD and if you've never owned it this is your chance.

Thanks again Cherry Red Records and keep up the good work we music fans appreciate it.
