And the Winner of the Steve Jobs Bio-Pic race is… Ashton Kutcher.

Deadline Hollywood is reporting that Open Road films is close to acquiring Jobs, the Joshua Michael Stern helmed Bio-Pic of Steve Jobs life, for distribution. The film stars Ashton Kutcher as Jobs and had been announced to close the Sundance Film Festival this year. No specifics of the distribution, including possible theatrical release, are being reported yet.

Jobs was one of two competing Steve Jobs movies in development after his death. The other, based on his autobiography and written by Aaron Sorkin, has not yet been filmed.
