Batman: Legends of the Dark Knight Vol. 1 Review
Collecting issues of The Brave and the Bold form 1972-1975, Legends of the Dark Knight Vol. 1 is jam packed with retro Batman action. It is a little deceiving because the title leads you to think it might collect the 1989-1992 series titled "Batman: Legends of the Dark Knight," but it does not.
The whole book features the iconic artwork of Jim Aparo, known for that classic blue and grey Batman look. These comics look great and really hold up!
This collection is awesome for any Bat Fan young or old. The classic team ups are awesome and feature Green Arrow, the Metal Men, Green Lantern, Mr. Miracle, Black Canary, the Spectre, and many more!
Definitely pick up this definitive collection of some of the best Batman comics of the 1970s era.
Batman: Legends of the Dark Knight Vol. 1 is a 10 out of 10 Team Ups!
There is, however, a New 52 title out this month "Legends of the Dark Knight." Each issue is a collection of short Batman stories written and illustrated by some of the best in the biz!
Issue #1 is fun and entertaining! I'm so glad they brought back this iconic series and I'm looking forward to reading the coming issues!
Legends of the Dark Knight #1 is a 10 out of 10 Bats!
