The Super Hero Squad Show Season 2 Vol. 4: The Infinity Gauntlet DVD Review

The Super Hero Squad Show Season 2 Vol. 4: The Infinity Gauntlet DVD (woah that's a mouthful!) contains the final 6 episodes of The Super Hero Squad Show. The squad squares off against the Dark Surfer in order to save the universe.

This show is hilarious and really clever! Despite being meant for kids, it is perfect for any Marvel fan because of all the subtle comic references made. I was laughing at every episode and really enjoying the story, which stays pretty faithful to the comics.

There are two things that I didn't like:
    1) I think it's a bit of a rip off to sell 4 volumes of a season at about $15 each for only 6 episodes. I don't understand why it wouldn't just be the whole season.
    2) The only bonus features on it are 3 mini-sodes of Marvel's Robot Chicken-esque web series Marvel Superheroes: What The-?!. These are really funny, but I think that they are a bit too mature for the audience of this DVD is meant for. There are a lot of bleeps in this and some adult things that are inappropriate for children and the DVD.

Other than those small gripes I really enjoyed the final chapter of The Super Hero Squad Show and it is a shame it didn't last longer.

The Super Hero Squad Show Season 2 Vol. 4: The Infinity Gauntlet DVD gets an 8 out of 10 Infinity Swords!
