The Amazing World of Gumball is a wacky, heartfelt, show featuring many different characters in many different styles. Created by Ben Bocquelet using rejected characters from different commercials, The Amazing World of Gumball has a very unique style with that nostalgic 90s cartoon feel.
This DVD includes 12 episodes of the series, which are all very hilarious. The title episode "The DVD" might be my favorite. It shows Gumball (a cat) and his brother Darwin (a goldfish) attempting to locate and return a DVD to the video store.
It's great that they put these 12 episodes on DVD, but I feel like they should just release the whole first season right off the bat. Also, there is only one, albeit fun, special feature on the disc and I felt there should be a little more.
