What do we know about Duran Duran?
1) They took their band name from a character in the movie "Barbarella."
2) They were the darlings of the MTV video generation.
3) They were 80's pin-up boys and christened with the nickname "The Fab Five"
Okay that's nothing new so what I am going to tell you may come as a shock…

"A Diamond In The Mind: LIVE 2011" is the audio companion to the bands new LIVE Blu-Ray DVD of the same name and serves as a document of the bands show recorded on December 6th, 2011 at the MEN Arena in Manchester UK.
Original members: Simon Lebon, Nick Rhodes, John Taylor and Roger Taylor are joined by Dom Brown (guitars), Anna Ross (backing vocals), Simon Willescroft (saxophone) and Dawne Adams (percussion) as they tear through 10 of the band's hits plus 4 songs off their current CD "All You Need Is Now."
It's hard to believe that it's been 30 years since they first burst onto the music scene… and teenage girls bedroom walls because everything is clicking on this album. From LeBon's vocals to John Taylor's bass the band has just never sounded better.
