Theatre Review: Spring Awakening In Concert

I was supposed to see this show last week but due to circumstances outside my control I was unable to attend.   I so wish that wasn't the case because it means I lost a week of getting people out to see the show.

Thankfully, I was able to catch it last night and thankfully for you there is still time to catch this amazing show.

This review will be short.  I don't want to take up more time than necessary so that you can get yourselves out to see this show.

So feel free to stop reading now and click over HERE to get tickets and check out the show.  There are shows tonight and tomorrow.

If you aren't convinced then read on and maybe you will be.

Spring Awakening in Concert is promoting and benefiting Love Is Louder and there may not be a play better suited for it than Spring Awakening.

Packed full of amazing music made even better by a flawless cast.  Top to bottom, this cast is mesmerizing.  Everyone has great voices and to put it bluntly are pretty great to look at.

This is a cast that has superstars written all over it.  Each and every one of them has a bright bright future ahead of them and these brilliant performances may just be their launching pads.  The only problem with this is that you leave wanting to have seen more of pretty much everyone.

I did want to mention Topher Rhys.  If there is anyone who could be called a stand out it is him.  His portrayal of Moritz was nothing less than a revelation.

Spring Awakening is two hours of beautiful songs and stunning performances set in an intimate theatre.  The message is important.  The cause is important.

You have two days left to see this beautiful show.  Take your kids.  Take your friends.

    Saturday 7/28 @ 9
    Sunday 7/29 @ 8
