For the past 2 years Concord Music Group has been releasing titles known as the "Paul McCartney Archive Collection."
Titles such as "Band On The Run" "McCartney" and "McCartney II" have been awarded the deluxe edition treatment, giving Paul McCartney's recorded catalogue a much needed overhaul.
The latest release from Concord is Paul's second post-Beatles' release, "RAM."
"RAM," released 41 years ago in May of 1971, is the only album from "Sir Paul" that is credited as a "Paul and Linda McCartney" recording. "RAM" finds Paul and Linda having a ball in the recording studio and their good time comes through with tracks like "3 Legs," "Smile Away" and "Heart Of The Country." When you listen to this album you just can't help but feel good. "RAM" is like an instant mood changer which is what music should do... make the listener feel something.
"RAM" is released in multi-formats that are sure to please any fan's ears and wallet. Bonus tracks (Another Day), B-Sides (Oh Woman, Oh Why), videos, extensive liner notes and rare photos of the McCartney family living on their farm and in the recording studio round out the deluxe packaging.
Key tracks: "Too Many People" and Paul's first #1 single since leaving The Beatles: "Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey
