Every year around this time I look for the perfect "summer" album.
The kind of album that stays in your car stereo all season and is your trusted companion any time your butt hits the bucket seats of your Camaro (I don't really own a Camaro but you get it right?).
Well, for 2012, the search is over ... because I just discovered the new Motion City Soundtrack CD "GO."
The band's 5th album is packed with irresistible rock tunes that make you want to crank it up, sing along and put the pedal of your Camaro to the floor (repeating... I don't really own a Camaro).
The album kicks off with "Circuits And Wires" and immediately you know that Motion City Soundtrack is about to put the fun back into rock'n'roll! The propulsive drumming will have have you beating the steering wheel of your Camaro (still don't own or drive one) into submission.
The album never lets up and there is not a clunker in the bunch. As we used to say at the Camaro Convention (that doesn't exist) this album is "all killer and no filler."
To quote a line from the song "True Romance" don't be "a screw up of epic proportions" do yourself a favor and buy "GO" right now!
Drumroll please... 9 out of 10 drumsticks!!
