Comic News: Marvel Reveals The New Ultimate Spiderman

This is a major spoiler for those of you who read Ultimate Spider-Man.

It's pretty interesting and well appropriate to go in this direction.  I'm curious to see what the reactions are.

The shoes of recently deceased Peter Parker are going to be filled by a half-black, half-Hispanic teen named Miles Morales.  


Axel Alonso, Marvel Editor-In-Chief says, "What you have is a Spider-Man for the 21st century who's reflective of our culture and diversity. We think that readers will fall in love with Miles Morales the same way they fell in love with Peter Parker."


What do you think?  Personally, I think it's great to show some diversity for a huge hero like Spider-Man.
