    Music Review: The Beatles - "1962 - 1966" & "1967 - 1970"

In stores today music fans will find two of the all-time best greatest hits compilations ever released: "The Beatles/1962 - 1966" and "The Beatles/1967 - 1970."

Known to most people as the "Red Album" and the "Blue Album," these two collections contain some of the most enduring pop rock music of the last 40+ years. Whether you're a Beatles fanatic who needs to own every CD released or the casual fan who might not own any Beatles music, these albums are perfect for you. 54 Beatles classics spread over 4 CDs! Everything from "Love Me Do" to "The Long And Winding Road" and almost anything you can think of in between.

The CDs have been digitally remastered at Abbey Road Studios by the same team of engineers that painstakingly handled last year's complete Beatles catalogue overhaul -- and the music has never sounded better.

Now it probably sounds like I am a Beatles fanatic and I will tell you … I am not. To be honest, when it comes to the "British Invasion," I much prefer "The Kinks," "The Who," and "The Rolling Stones" over "The Fab Four." But, you cannot deny the power of their music. And as much as I like those other 3 legendary bands, when it's time to load the kids in the car for a long road trip I always grab a handful of Beatles CDs. Everyone from 4 to 64 (nod to Sir Paul) can enjoy these classic songs.

Well this is starting to sound like an infomercial so I might as well add this to the mix… both of these titles are available right now for the low price of $13.99 at Target and Best Buy. That's only $7.00 per CD or .53 cents per song!! You say you can't afford to buy them, I say you can't afford not to buy them.

Plus… Beatles music is still not available on iTunes or on any other digital download service ... so why wait? Act now and you will receive… well you know the rest!

    Drumroll please… 10 out of 10 drumsticks!!!
