    So long George Carlin

Comedy legend George Carlin has died.

According to his publicist, Jeff Abraham, Carlin died of heart failure on Sunday in Los Angeles. He was 71 years old.

Carlin has been doing Stand up since the late 1950's. He is a Grammy Award winning comedian and creator of the famous Seven Words You Can Never Use on Television routine.

Countless comedians name George Carlin as a mentor, an idol, a master.

Our best goes out to his family and friends.

The world of comedy has lost a true legend today.
