    RIP Tim Russert

    It's not breaking news.

I just wanted to give my respect and condolences to his family.

I have just recently really been getting into politics in more than just a passing way and it was Tim Russert who I watched on my television screen as we went through these primaries these past few months.

I never really knew who he was before this and for that I feel like I missed out on a man who's career has been exemplary and filled with the utmost integrity.

My time as a viewer of his was short, and regrettably I never got to see him in his prime on Meet The Press. For that I am sorry. I am, however, certain of his impact. I can see the way he touched his colleagues and his friends. It is evident in the sheer outpouring of emotion displayed when they speak of him.

We have lost a great in the world of not only journalism, but also of truth. He will be missed.
