IESB.net has some scoopage relating to this years San Diego Comic-Con. This info is not 100% confirmed and may certainly change. Here is a breakdown so far by studio:
20th Century Fox will be showing off City of Ember, Mirrors, and The Day the Earth Stood Still. You can probably expect to see Amy Smart, Keanu Reeves, Jennifer Connelly, Alexandre Aja and Kiefer Sutherland.
Lionsgate will feature Frank Miller's upcoming film The Spirit. I would expect most of the cast to attend. They'll also feature Punisher: War Zone.
Paramount Pictures will undoubtedly show some GI Joe footage and maybe some Star Trek. Expect a full screening of Tropic Thunder.
Sony Pictures will feature Quarantine and Underworld: Rise of the Lycans. Expect cast members from those films. Also rumor has it something involving Quantum of Solace. If I had to guess I'd say a trailer with a possible appearance by Mr. Bond himself, Daniel Craig.
Summit Entertainment will have a large presentation from the teen vampire love story, Twilight, which if I am watching the trailer correctly, features vampires romping around in the daylight. Cast members and the author of the Twilight series Stephenie Meyer will attend.
Universal Pictures will feature Death Race, Land of the Lost, and The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor. Expect cast members from these films to appear, including WIll Ferrell, Jason Statham, and Brendan Fraser.
Warner Bros. Pictures is expected to present Watchmen with the director, Zack Snyder and the cast. They're also expected to premeire footage from RocknRolla, Ninja Assasin, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Terminator Salvation: The Future BEgins, and Friday the 13th. I would expect at least a trailer for F13.
The Weinstein Company will have a panel for Kevin Smith's latest comedy Zack and Miri Make a Porno with Smith and cast expected. There is also talk of a full Fanboys screening.
The San Diego Comic-Con will be from July 24 - 27 this year with a special preview night on July 23.
Unfortunately, we won't be able to attend every day this year. We will bring you as much info as possible for the times we're there. With luck we'll nab some good stuff to give away or feature on the page.
