Help Me Save Cougar Town and Maybe Win $100 Amazon Gift Card

Hey friends,

I need your help.

At the top of the page you'll notice we have a banner up for the show Cougar Town.  Now, up front let me tell you I am not getting paid a dime to host that ad or for this post.  It's taking up premium ad space on the site because I want it to.  I reached out to the creators of the show and asked them for something, anything, to put on the site to show my support and appreciation for what has become one of my favorite TV comedies, and my favorite ensemble cast, on TV today.  Why?  Because I love it and I want it to stick around for as long as possible.

What does this have to do with you?

Well, I'm asking for a favor.  Watch the show.  Tuesday Nights 830pm on ABC.  Give it a chance.  I can guarantee you it is not the show you think it is.  It's not about older women after younger men.  it's about friendship and family and wine.  It's an unfortuantely titled show that you will fall in love with.

Do me a favor and help me save one of my favorite shows.  Tell your friends (especially of the Nielsen variety), watch the show a few times.  If you don't like it, you've lost what 90 minutes?  If you do like it, and I feel extremely confident that you will, keep spreading the word. 

Hell, I'll even make it a contest.  Anyone who tweets "Please Watch Cougar Town Tuesday 8:30 on ABC.  One of the Best Shows (and THE BEST Cast) on TV! #CougarTown #PCBCT" will be entered in a drawing to win a $50 Amazon Gift Card (out of my OWN POCKET.)  If I get more than 100 tweets/RTs on this AND Cougar Town ratings increase (even a little) I'll bump it up to $100.
