Well here is something special for everyone, via the good folks at Valve. One of the best PC games of all time, nay one of the best games of all time, just got better. Today, Valve announced that they are making this amazing piece of awesome available to download (PC and Mac) for free until September 20th. That's right, a game that only yesterday would have cost you $10 and originally, as part of Valve's The Orange Box bundle, would have cost you $59.99, is now free.In case you live under a rock Portal is a first-person puzzle game with a level of polish and presentation that has garnered it much of the praise of the industry. Earning it a 90/100 rating from critic review aggregate Metacritic and a 9.6/10 user score, as well as numerous Editors' Choice and Game of the Year awards from many outlets. If you haven't played this game, you have no excuse not to anymore. It is simply (in my view and others) one of the best games released in the last 10 years (and possibly longer).
Take some time out of your life and pleasure yourself with the flavors of GlaDOS and the rest of Portal while it's free. It will be the best money you never spent.
