Farewell Smallville!

After 10 seasons one of the best superhero based series of all time comes to an end.

During its 10-year run "Smallville" gave the fans everything they could ask for...

Heroes: Clark Kent, Chloe, Green Arrow, Martian Manhunter, Supergirl, The Flash, Aquaman, Hawkman, Black Canary, Cyborg, Zatana, Blue Beetle and even Booster Gold.

Villains: Lex Luthor, Zod, Lionel Luther, Darkseid, Metallo, Doomsday and Braniac.

Cameos from the Superman Universe: Christopher Reeve, Margot Kidder, Helen Slater, Dean Cain, Teri Hatcher and even Annette O'Toole (Lana Lang in Superman III) a series regular as Martha Kent.

For purists, "Smallville" was not always the "Superman" universe you knew and loved from the comics but on its own "Smallville" was well... super.

So, tonight I will sit down, pour a big glass of Kryptonian Ale (does that even exist?) and toast one of my favorite guilty pleasures.

Here's to "Smallville" and Tom Welling, the best Superman to ever grace the screen... big or small!
