    Frackin' Awesome Music Friday 9/17/2010

The Temper Trap is a band you may have heard of for their song "Sweet Disposition" which is becoming very popular after being used in a Diet Coke commercial originally aired during this year's Oscars.  I love their sound, it reminds me a bit of Coldplay, but with a much lighter feel to the music.

This music video is very fun and done in the style of OK GO's playful videos.

Ingrid Michaelson released a song on ITunes that she wrote for Cheryl Cole and became a big hit in the UK "Parachutes".  Personally I prefer Ingrid's version of the song, but I prefer the acoustic sound to a pop sound any day.

The version on ITunes may vary from what's on this youtube video because this was recorded for a talk show.  Right now Ingrid's version of "Parachutes" is only available on ITunes

Weezer released it's newest album "Hurley" ($6.99 on Amazon) this week and you can't even turn on youtube without seeing them somewhere.  The band was even featured in the lastest "Annoying Orange" episode.

If "Memories" is any indication, I look forward to giving the new cd a spin or two.
