Dresden Dolls Announce Fall Tour 2010

After three years of waiting, Dresden Dolls fans will finally have the chance to see their favorite band again this fall.  Taking place exactly 10 years after the birth of the "punk cabaret" duo (Viglione met Palmer on Halloween night of 2000, at an art/salon party at Palmer's house, at which she was playing solo songs on piano.)

Since their last performance back in 2008 for "Rock the Vote", the duo has kept busy as individual artists.  Palmer released a solo album "Who Killed Amanda Palmer", which was produced by Ben Folds and featured dead photographs of Palmer and short stories from her now fiancé Neil Gaiman.  In addition, Palmer released a donation-based EP titled "Amanda Palmer Performs the Popular Hits on Her Magical Ukelele".  Currently, Palmer is starring as the emcee in the American Repertory Theater's producation of Kander & Ebb's musical, "Cabaret" which end its run on October 29th.

Meanwhile, drummer/producer Brian Viglione has appeared on 30 albums since 2008.  Viglione released an album "Face Of the Sun", which he produced and co-wrote.
