Jack Bauer is in his Final Day.

Fox has canceled 24. The series' eighth and current season will be its last.

This is due to the cost of the show and "dipping" ratings. This isn't necessarily bad news though. All systems are go for sending Jack Bauer to the multiplex with a 24 movie franchise.

Sad to see one of TVs best shows heading off to the sunset but it's probably best to give Jack Bauer a rest. At least until the movie.
