It's being reported that the man who made Batman movies awesome again is "mentoring" the creative team behind the next Superman film even as work ramps up on the next Batman film.
Christopher Nolan will act as a godfather of sorts to the writers and producers of Warner Bros. upcoming Superman sequel, which will NOT be a follow up to Superman Returns. It is not yet known whether Brandon Routh or Bryan Singer will be asked to return to the franchise.
This news comes just as word came that Jonah Nolan and David Goyer have begun work on the script Batman 3.
Might this be exactly what Warners needs to have an eventual crossover between the two iconic characters? Who better to orchestrate it than Christopher Nolan???
