You probably know him best as the rollerskating criminal Terry from Reno 911 (a character that appears on the special features) but Nick Swardson is actually a really funny comedian. His stage skills are on display here with the DVD release of his stand up special, Seriously, Who Farted?
It's an hour of non stop funny. He covers numerous topics from people thinking he is gay to weed to old people and numerous stops in between. The jokes are pretty clever and extremely funny. This isn't comedy for the parents unless they don't mind cursing, sex, drugs, and other debauchery. Anyone who isn't too green around the color will enjoy Swardson's brash humor.
Swardson is poised to break into stardom with his upcoming movie, Born To Be A Star, so this is a great opportunity to see him performing his stand up material.
The disc contains some hilarious bonus material as well.
Overall, it's a nice collection of comedy for a pretty good price. Swardson proves with this set that he can stand up with the big guys, even if he doesn't seem to think so (according to his blurb on the back of the box anyway).

I completely agree with this review. I think the jokes that he does on this dvd are hysterical. My favorite joke is the one about everything being better when your drunk. I really see this dvd doing very well.
ReplyDeleteThis is one of the funniest albums I have ever heard. The entire thing makes me laugh harder each time I listen to it. I never knew how funny Nick Swardson really is. Definitely my new favorite comedian, and I can't wait to see him when he comes to my town!
ReplyDeleteNick Swardson is absolutely hilarious! Seeing him in movies such as Grandmas Boy and Chuck and Larry I always thought he was funny. After hearing his stand up brings a whole only makes it official. Makes me laugh harder each time I listen!

Yeah Nick Swardson is absolutely hilarious! I would definitely recommend this DVD to any comedy lover, or just anyone who loves to laugh! This will definitely do that for you for hours!!!
