Goonies 2 rumors resurfacing!

Aint It Cool is reporting rumblings that a sequel to The Goonies is officially in the works. They're hearing that this is not going to be a direct to dvd sequel like this years Lost Boys: The Tribe, but a large scale theatrical release that will give the franchise the respect it deserves.

There have been rumors like this before but it seems like they are even scouting possible shooting locations already. Maybe well finally get a sequel?
