Yes, it's true.
Dimension films have acquired the rights to remake the 1986 classic film Short Circuit.
I really don't see why this is necessary. The first movie, and its sequel, were great and are classics in my eyes.
The one bonus to this is that the original writers S.S. Wilson and Brent Maddock have been hired on to pen the remake.
I wonder if Steve Guttenburg and Ally Sheedy will make cameos?
