    Movie Pick of the Week

Six movies open this week at the movies. Let us help you decide with our pick of the week.

This week we'll have 2 picks:

First, if you wanna take the family out to the theatre (if so you must be rich) then head to see August Rush.

It's looks to be a sweet and sappy tale about a young orphan, played by the hardest working kid in Hollywood: Freddie Highmore, who hopes his learning to be a musician will cause his real parents to come looking for him. It also stars Robin Williams, Terrance Howard, Johnathan Rice Myers, and Keri Russell.

My secret enjoyment of tear-jerking family films compels me to rush (see what i did there?) and see this one. That's a secret. Don't tell anyone!

Not into family films? That's fine. In fact, that's even better because today marks the release of what some people are calling "the best horror film of the year."

Stephen King's The Mist releases today. Directed by Frank Darabont and starring Thomas Jane and Marcia Gay Harding.
The Mist is based on the novella about a group of people stranded inside a grocery store as a mysterious monster filled mist covers their town.

I'm reading the story now and damn its creepy. I cannot wait to see this movie and from what I hear of the ending...wow.
King recently commented on the ending, they changed it from the novel, that it is the most shocking ending he has ever seen and anyone who spoils it should be "hung from the neck until dead."

Sounds like a great endorsement to me.
    Other films opening include:

    Hitman
    This Christmas

    I'm Not There

    Enchanted
