It's been in development for quite a while but it finally looks like there has been some forward movement in the long awaited Green Lantern movie.
It seems that Everwood creator Greg Berlanti will co-write and direct the film. It will be an origin story about how Hal Jordan becomes Green Lantern and how he joins the Green Lantern Corps.
I'm a bit weary that the man behind Everwood is handling this but...we'll see how it goes.
